      idiot-proof programs 是指「白痴都知道怎么用的程序」，译为「傻瓜程序」较好。

      nerd 不是讨厌的人而是技术呆瓜。

      考虑到保持这句话的连贯性和讽刺意味。如果idiot-proof Programs译为傻瓜程序，那后面的idiot似乎最好也译为傻瓜。

      Nerd, as a stereotypical or archetypal designation, refers to people of above-average intelligence whose interests (often in science and mathematics) are not shared by mainstream society.
      在这里应该是一语双关，nerd既可以指游戏中的怪物，也暗指技术呆瓜。

      Pokemon我没有玩过，不过我知道有很多不同的版本的Pokemon，而且在很多版本中，Pokemon需要与别的怪兽决斗吧。

      问题是 Pokemon 就是怪兽，怪兽就是 Pokemon，Pokemon 是一个总称，就好比恐龙是个总称，下面有暴龙、翼龙之类的。所以你说的「别的怪兽」也是 Pokemon。

      根据词典和你上面引用的维基百科解释，nerd 并没有怪兽的意思啊（除非是比喻）。

      确实是我所联想的一种比喻，不过通过你对pokemon的解释，我觉得这种联想似乎是不合理的。我一直认为pokemon是游戏中的一个主角。而事实上它是怪兽的总称。明白了。

      说实话，没有读懂2。给儿子读了不少Pokemon的书，里面很多角色也都知道，但没有明白2的意思。
      另：nerds在这里不是“技术呆瓜”的意思，至少没“技术”什么事。你如果看过Rugrat，Sponge Bob之类，你就明白nerds是什么样子。我不知道怎么形容，但这里也许翻译成“呆瓜”就好了吧。

      get laid的意思事先倒是查到了，只是不好直白的写上去；

      “nerd”我还是比较同意lawrence的“技术呆瓜”，因为这十句话总的来说有一个倾向就是讽刺技术人员，除非能为这一条找到更合理的解读；

      关于2，网上查了一大圈，查到的都只是自称很nerd的人把它作为很in的引言，让我觉得很out。不过查到一首象歌一样的：

      在 Nintendo DS Lite 上的 Pokemon 游戏里，一开始的时候，你从房子里出来，门外有一小胖子，过去跟他讲话，他会说：

      确实改过，我可以证明。

      刚刚收到本周译言快讯，其中一句“本周译作共计60篇，其中由 woogle 发表、 lawrence 、花花 、 彼岸 等朋友点评/讨论的译作 十大最佳极客言论 ，简直是译言眉批功能的绝佳示范，其价值可以说远远超出文章本身了。”实在让我汗颜，翻译这篇确实有点力不从心，因为我既不是Geek，也不是Nerd或者Pokemon，不过还是要说这些眉批和评论让我学到很多，谢谢各位。

      哦，刚注意到关于get laid的眉批。get laid＝get f**ked，应该是被动的关系。这句大概应该是“如果你能读懂这句的话，你自己该get f**ked”。其实fuck这个词虽然是脏话，其实和国骂一样，有时只表示一种情绪，和sex无关。所以，这句也许可以译为：

      如果你能读懂这句的话，你就该一边凉快去了。

      而且应该为不能读懂这句话的朋友解释一下：

      中的数字，是搞电脑的人常用的，用数字替换字母用作密码的的手法。比如1=I, 4=A, 3=E等等。比如我要用　lei 作密码别人可以猜到，我就把它变成 l31，方便自己记忆。呵呵，别去试我的密码啊。

      雷大，不是的，get laid 就是 have sex。我想这里的意思是，对 geek 的 stereotypical 的看法是他们只知道一门心思钻技术（或其他常人看来古怪的爱好），忽略了生活其他方面（当然包括最重要的那方面咯），所以，如果能看懂上面的 Leetspeak（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet），那就说明恐怕忽略了自己小弟弟的需要。

      idiot-proof 精确的说是傻瓜都不会搞错的程序，当然说成是傻瓜都能用的程序也不错，不过这里有点不贴切。

      嗯……第二个不很懂，GEEK和POKEMON有什么关系，Charizard是喷火龙（小火龙进化再进化）……再说POKEMON的卡片游戏里喷火龙也貌似不是最强的……将近500种POKEMON，几乎都出了卡，很多种POKEMON甚至还有多张不同的……
      而且，虽然引用的原文那网站是那么写的，但其实是DAMN RIGHT，不是DARN，在GOOGLE上可以找到相关内容……是改编歌曲，YOUTUBE上有。
      讲的是那种疯狂集卡的人，出钱买卡，但是那人就是不卖喷火龙……这算GEEK？称呼为OTAKU比较合适……
