On January 12th, 2009, having been held in Shenzhen Octeast Wind Valley Golf Club, “Summer Palace Golf Chateau China Golf Award” started the first ceremony of golf field in 2009. All sorts of the golf elite, no matter from golf culb or golf brand, gathered together in Wind Valley golf course from all parts of the country in the day, intercoursed with each other in the invitational competition. That was absolutely a pageant in the golf industry.
The award ceremony was held in The Interlaken OCT Hotel Shenzhen. What a grand occasion it was! There were 43 awards in total, inculding golf course,golf club and golf equipment etc. By virtue of its own location advantage, management of private club and high class membership, Favorview Golf & Country Club beat numerous driving range and won the honorary title of“The Best Practice Centre”. By combining the golf with amusements and commerce well enough, Favorview Golf & Country Club has set up a typical model of High-end practice centre andobtained unanimous approval by the golfers and businessmen.
As the most time-honored and all-around public appraisal in the golf industry, “China Golf Award” spares no effort on push forward the development of chinese golf industry for decades on end. The past 2008 has been, to say the least, a trying year for Chinese golf industry. However, by the efforts of fellows in the same field, a set of outstanding golf clubs and golf equipments has come forth, making a positive contribution to the whole golf industry in China. Therefore, aiming at awarding rewards to those golf club and golf brand, “2008 China Award” was held in Summer Palace Golf Chateau.
China Golf started its publication in 1994 as the first golf magazine in Chinese. On the strength of the reading public, for its professional insight, it applies itself to the appraisal on those golf club and golf equipment since the first “China Golf Award” had been held, in which those top to the others and well-loved by the golfer public would be conferred by commendation. It has placed a premium on a benign competition to the whole golf union, enhanced the prosperity of golf industry and received universal supports and approval of the whole golf industry in China. Having strived for excellent with constant innovation and improving, several awards of “2008 China Golf Award” represented the glory and honor of the golf industry in china.
